Hannah – raspberries are one of my favourite foods, so delicious! They're so expensive though, you're right. I buy frozen berries when on special, and then defrost them by placing the bag in a bit of warm water πŸ˜‰

Jackson – thank you, peach pie πŸ™‚ I cannot wait for you to cook for me, come stay asap!

Yumm! I can't decide if raspberries or mangoes are my favourite fruit. What a lovely start to a Sunday.

InTolerant Chef – yes, mangoes are sublime. So many favourite fruits, especially now it is Summer!

Ashley – thank you πŸ™‚ I wasn't craving them actually, I made them as Ben had a craving – but I am so glad I did, they were delicious!

Hannah – thank you! Yes, I love having fresh flowers in my apartment. It totally affects my mood in such a positive way πŸ™‚

The banana pancakes look very eggy to me! They remind me of french toast in a way. πŸ™‚

  • Kath December 13, 2010 at 5:54 am

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, raspberries! Remind me of my childhood, because my Grandmom loves them and used to have them.

Are you drinking hot water there?

  • Heidi December 13, 2010 at 8:21 am

Michelle – yes, I know what you mean! Only 1 egg used though. The wholemeal flour makes them 'bulkier', and it uses both baking soda & baking powder. Yet they're still very fluffy and moist. My favourite. Tempted to make them again right now… πŸ™‚

Kath – yes! Very astute there, Kath πŸ™‚ I was having a hot water before my tea. I drink a lot of hot water. And get a lot of strange looks from people!

*sigh* Can I come over for breakfast? πŸ˜›

  • laurak December 13, 2010 at 11:02 pm

Yum, those pancakes look so nice and fluffy!
I love lazing around on a sunday and reading the Sunday Age…I spend a good hour or so immersed in the Life and M liftouts.
And I drink hot water habitually, I think it's delicious but I get strange looks too!
