Pancake picture

August 27, 2014

Just a picture of pancakes this Wednesday.

It’s been a full and fun week. Well, mostly fun. I pulled my back (is that what it’s called, “pulled”?) two days ago when hanging a sheet up to dry. It was a laundry injury. Anyway I’m applying tiger balm like there’s no tomorrow and asking Ben for massages. I pulled my feet too, you see, so they’re needing particular attention also…

This morning I woke early to make pancakes. But then spent half an hour lying on my yoga mat stretching this back situation out, so my posting was a little delayed. If you don’t hear from me in two days send another jar of tiger balm, a masseuse and more pancakes.

I hope you feel better soon Heidi, it’s nice that Ben is taking such good care of you!
For breakfast today I had 3 gluten free Weetbix with a big spoonful off slippery elm powder and low fat lactose free milk, all washed down with a couple of mugs of Earl grey tea of course 🙂 x

Oh no! Sounds like something I’d do. Stupid laundry injuries. Thank god for delicious pancakes 🙂

I’m glad Ben is giving you some extra TLC. I always thought he was one lucky man to have you there to prepare meals & nourish him. This morning I had instant porridge with milk in the office and for dinner I made Pete and I toasted muffins with peanut butter. Get what I mean?

That dinner sounded like it’s loaded with love, so he’s lucky indeed. Thank you, lovely xx

Oh you poor little bug. I hate, hate back injuries, they’re so debilitating (I always think I take my body for granted until a particular part doesn’t work, then I decide that I need to take better care of myself!). I do hope that you recovered swiftly. Tiger balm!! My mother has some of that too… and something else called ‘Kung Fu Oil’ that she got from Malaysia. They work ridiculously well… I love the warming sensation (it feels better instantaneously!). Anyway, sending you hugs and pancake love xx
